What?! A white guy from Ohio singing soul music and beatboxing to cheering crowds night after night? It seems hard to believe, but that is exactly what Jared Mahone consistently makes audiences do - believe. His authenticity comes through loud and clear, and by that first chorus you will find yourself grooving along to Jared’s decidedly soulful acoustic funk. As one of the most booked performers in the college market, Jared completed 450+ shows across the country including an all college tour in Spring 2011.  His “Mixtape Project” allowed fans to hear a new song from him every week in 2010 and now Jared is back in the studio with his band recording the fan favorites in a new album.  Produced by Jerry DePizzo of O.A.R. and mixed by Grammy award winning engineer Mike Landolt (Maroon 5), the album will feature 12 songs chosen by fans of The Mixtape Project.
