Acoustic Indie-rock. With a touch of ukulele. That sums up Hawai’i born singer/songwriter Kawehi. At 19, Kawehi got her first taste of success after being discovered singing in an audition at Honolulu’s Blaisdell Arena. With a few dollars in her pocket, she relocated to Los Angeles at 21 to pursue her musical career.
Currently, Kawehi has an EP, a full length album, and several music videos under her belt along with years of playing hot LA clubs like Hotel Café, Whiskey a Go Go, House of Blues, and Bar Lubitsch. Kawehi showcased at several NACA and APCA conventions in 2010-2011 and is quickly becoming a talked about artist on the college scene.
